It's Your Idea... You Keep It!

I recently ran into two separate people who had great business ideas and they were doing everything they could to give those ideas away to someone else to work on.
Why in hell would you do this? There is no way that other person/group would execute on your vision better than you would?
Don't your future customers deserve to get your vision and not someone else's?
